1.4 Optionally Customize Touchbar through Keyboard > keyboard tab
There is an option to 'Customize Touch Bar' in the keyboard tab Same result as under Extensions > Touch Bar.
2 Set FN key to show Quick Actions
I don't remember where I did this but at some point I set my FN key to show quick actions.
Once set, I can access my Quick Funtions by holding down the FN key. Note I can still hit the "quick action" button on the touch bar to have the quick actions displayed on the touch bar, as long as I have customized the touch bar to display the QuickAction button.
Since I did this, I changed the MAC keyboard by swapping CAPS-LOCK
key to be
the CONTROL
key i.e. C-
And so changed the FN
key to be CAPS-LOCK
So, I will won't be able to use the FN
key as described above. Therefore I
will need to use the "quick action" button on the touch bar exclusively.
